Maria is a qualified counsellor with a BA(Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Counselling and Addiction Studies from Galilee House of Studies and is a Fully Accredited member of Addiction Counsellors of Ireland (ACI).
Maria is a Humanistic Therapist and regards Carl Rogers core conditions of empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard as essential elements in building a therapeutic alliance. Maria has many years of experience working with women (individually and in groups) struggling with Substance Abuse, Trauma, Grief and loss, Depression and Anxiety. Maria advocates Harm Reduction Therapies when appropriate for the client.
Senior Addiction Counsellor
Michael is an experienced qualified counsellor with a BA (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Counselling and Addiction Studies and is an Accredited Member of Addiction Counsellors of Ireland (ACI)
A Humanistic Therapist, Michael works with teens and adults on a myriad of issues including substance abuse, gambling addiction, anxiety, depression and trauma. He is an experienced group facilitator in the field of addiction and has worked with families living with addiction, aftercare groups and recovery therapies (Abstinence and Harm Reduction approaches).
Ali Burnard is a qualified Gestalt Psychotherapist from the respected Gestalt Institute of Ireland; an experienced group facilitator of co-dependency groups and of her own Mindfulness courses/workshops (inside and outdoors in Nature). Ali also works in Equine Therapy.
She has a lifelong practice of Meditation and Mindfulness and works with teens and adults one-to-one on a wide variety of issues in a flexible, collaborative and sensitive way that offers her clients greater awareness and choice in their lives.
Shawn Jamieson works with individuals, couples, and families, to help them gain and use the tools needed to overcome Life’s challenges.
After more than two decades of military and civilian health care practice Shawn knows there is no such thing as a “normal life”. He is skilled and experienced with Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Shawn’s education includes a MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences in Limerick.
Kayleigh Hannon is a qualified social care worker who graduated from Limerick institute of Technology in 2017 with a BA (Hon) in Applied Social Studies in Social Care. She also holds a foundation diploma in Counselling and is currently completing her Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy at ICHAS in Limerick. She has many years’ experience working with teenagers and adults with mental health challenges in therapeutic settings.
Kayleigh is a humanistic therapist and uses a holistic approach, which assists her in adapting to each client’s individual needs.
